How To Avoid the Dangers of Water Fluoridation

The first question you should ask is “Is my drinking water fluoridated?”

To find out you can call your water company (the telephone number is on your bill) or go to http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/MWF/Index.asp
to locate your water supplier and see if they fluoridate your water.

If your water is fluoridated you should take steps to find alternatives to drinking from the tap.

Bottled water may be a safer alternative but some bottled water does contain fluoride and the Food and Drug Administration does not require them to list that level on the label.

Complaining to your representatives locally and at the state level will help on a long term basis but not with your immediate exposure.

NOTE: There are no easy, inexpensive filtration systems to remove the fluoride from your drinking water!!

I am asked this all the time in my dental practice.  Carbon granules/particles, sleeve filtration, distillation and reverse osmosis devices DO NOT remove the fluoride.

You must invest in double filter tanks with aluminum silicate to remove the fluoride molecule.

Do more investigation and you will discover the lies we have been told about benefits of fluoride in our bodies and teeth.  Fluoride has only a MINOR effect on protecting teeth, and that is only temporary…lasting a few minutes or longer.

The health damaging effects on the whole body is devastating.  Brittle bone disease, osteoporosis and osteopenia are one devastating result of ingestion of fluoride, leading to broken bones, especially in the elderly.

Many studies are now coming out about children drinking fluoridated water having up to a 10 point decrease in IQ.  Full term, low birth weight babies (1-1/2 pound!) are borne to mothers who drank this water while pregnant.

A study out of Harvard shows a three fold increase in bone cancer in teenage boys who drank fluoridated water most of their lives.

Please help fight politically to stop the addition of chemicals to our water supply.
